Dr. Janna Sitovska is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner with a registered nursing background and over 9 years of clinical experience in Calgary. Her approach blends the insights of conventional medicine with Chinese Medicine, allowing her to identify the root causes of health concerns and create truly individualised treatment plans.

She uses a unique diagnostic method that includes ear (auricular) diagnosis, pulse diagnosis, abdominal (tummy) palpation, and tongue assessment — giving her a multi-layered view of each patient's constitution before treatment begins.

In her practice, Dr. Sitovska integrates several advanced acupuncture techniques and selects the most effective style for each patient, including Neuro-Classical Acupuncture by Dr. Slate Burris (single-needle quantum acupuncture), Master Tung style distal needling, Korean acupuncture (Su Jok), and ear acupuncture (auricular medicine, trained under Dr. Li Huang).

She also creates customised Chinese herbal formulas based on the diagnostic principles taught by world-renowned TCM expert Dr. Jimmy Wei-Yin Chang (California/Taiwan). These formulas are tailored to each patient's constitution, symptoms, and pulse findings for the most precise therapeutic effect.
